There are four main category of U.S. Citizen’s family based immigration, they are:

• Spouse of U.S. Citizen
• Child (under the age of 21) of U.S. Citizen
• Parent of U.S. Citizen
• Unmarried Sons & Daughters of U.S. Citizen (Also known as First Preference)
• Sons & Daughters of U.S. Citizen (Married) (Also known as Third Preference)
• Brothers & Sisters of U.S. Citizen (Also known as Fourth Preference)
